About Us

Ellen Cram Kowalczyk is a technical security leader with extensive experience in the full security development lifecycle.  For Microsoft, she lead the team who provided security reviews and sign-off for all product company-wide, and lead the TWC Security Fraud and Abuse push.   For Amazon, she lead the AWS Threat Intelligence and Security Engineering Teams, and the AWS EC2 Security Team.  She is a recognized expert in Social Engineering Prevention as well as Security Development and Operations.  As of Spring 2016, she is focused on Social Engineering Prevention thought leadership, including consulting, blogging, speaking and training.  She will be at Blackhat in August of 2016, and is speaking at the Executive Women’s Forum in October 2016.   She is frequently social engineered by her illustrator, Ella Kowalczyk.
